The international journal of business and management has many interesting information, which can be implied various things connected with my discipline. First, this journal published articles from all areas in business and management field. It can be inferred that MBA students required to learn entire areas in business. It is the significant qualifications for the top level employee of the companies. Second, students’ articles are allowed to be published in the journal if the articles are qualified the review process. It creates good chances for beginners to share their articles with the other professionals. As I mentioned above about the review process, this journal use double-blinded method, which use two reviewers to examine the article without showing the writers’ name on it. Therefore, the writers’ reputation will not affect the publication process. From these information, it can be assumed that my discipline values knowledge and idea than the social status and it also exhibits the journal’s fairness from using this review process. Third, the journal publishes twelve issues per year, but the number of articles in each issue are varies between 30 to 60. That wide range number can be signified that the journal allows the writers to come up with their arbitrary topics. On the other hand, the journal, which published specific number of articles, might restrict the topic for the writers. Fourth, the articles from this journal are published online only. The readers do not have to pay the subscription fee to access those articles. It shows that the journal aims to broadcast the business knowledge to the crowd without making profit. They also use social media as another channel to communicate with the readers and writers besides the journal’s website. This is one way to gain more both readers and writers for this journal.
